Kevin Lyman serves as Global Head of Thought Leadership for Invesco Ltd., an independent global investment firm with approximately $1.6 trillion in assets under management. In this role, Kevin partners with Invesco’s investment, corporate and enterprise support teams around the world, as well as external parties, to drive execution of the firm’s global thought leadership agenda. The Global Thought Leadership team focuses on enhancing Invesco’s profile and reputation within the global asset management industry by providing distinctive, timely, market-leading content on topics of importance to target audiences. Kevin also participates actively in the Invesco Women’s Network, the Invesco Black Professionals’ Network, the Invesco Cares community engagement program and other business resource groups within the firm.

From 2002-2015 Kevin served as General Counsel of Invesco Trust Company and Assistant General Counsel for Invesco Advisers, Inc., advising multiple business units and investment funds globally. Prior to joining Invesco, he practiced as a corporate associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell in New York from 1997-2001.

Kevin received his law degree (1997) from Vanderbilt Law School, where he served as articles editor for the Vanderbilt Law Review, and his undergraduate degree (1993), magna cum laude, from Duke University. He is also a Fellow of the Judge Business School at Cambridge University and holds the GCB.D designation for ESG and sustainability corporate board governance.
